Cities/counties: 12 out of 22 CAFRs or financial statements we examined provided information on tax abatement programs in accordance with GASB Statement No.77.

School districts: 6 out of 116 CAFRs or financial statements we examined provided information on tax abatement programs in accordance with GASB Statement No.77.

Why is there little or no reporting from school districts?: Most Kansas's school districts do not use Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, so GASB 77 does not apply.
